37-Year-Old Woman Dead from Bakersfield Crash

A single-vehicle crash ended fatally in Bakersfield on Sunday, November 1st. California Highway Patrol was the first responder at the scene. The incident happened on Highway 58, near Oswell Street, just before 8:00 p.m. The unidentified vehicle crashed into a nearby mound after it veered off-road. The vehicle was only occupied by the driver, a woman aged 37. Her name was not disclosed by authorities. She sustained fatal injuries and died before medical personnel arrived at the scene. Initial investigation of the crash found that intoxication from either drugs or alcohol was not the cause of the crash of the single-vehicle.
