Our client was driving their semi-truck on the 10 Freeway in Banning, California when they experienced mechanical problems. They safely pulled over to the right shoulder, activating their emergency lights while waiting for roadside assistance. At that moment, the defendant, operating a delivery truck at an unsafe speed, failed to brake in time and rear-ended our client’s vehicle. Following the crash of the trucks, our injury lawyers took over the victim’s legal representation.
The police officers who responded to the scene determined that the defendant was at fault for the collision. The police report indicated that the delivery truck driver was traveling at an unsafe speed and had lost control of their vehicle. Our client’s truck sustained extensive property damage.
As a result of this crash, both trucks were totaled and our client suffered serious and life-altering injuries. These included multiple orthopedic and neurological injuries, significantly affecting their daily life and ability to work. Specifically, they experienced pain in their neck, lower back, and wrist, as well as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Their recovery required an exhaustive treatment plan, including physiotherapy, chronic pain management, and multiple surgeries.
Thanks to the dedicated efforts of Adamson Ahdoot’s lawyers, the victim of the accident secured a $1,250,000 settlement to cover their medical expenses and financial losses.
