A two-vehicle crash was reported in Castaic on Wednesday, December 29th. Los Angeles County Fire Department and California Highway Patrol were the first responders at the scene. The incident happened a few minutes after 8:00 p.m. on 5 Freeway, near Hasley Canyon Road. A car and a semi-trailer were involved in a collision, where the car struck the backside of the semi-trailer. As a result, the car was overturned. No injuries were reported from the crash. Authorities are still investigating the circumstances of the crash. Several lanes of 5 Freeway were closed while an investigation was ongoing.
