Our client was adjusting their bicycle on Pomona Boulevard in the City of Pomona, County of Los Angeles, they were struck by a semi-truck, claiming their life.
Our client awoke early that morning; therefore, their partner never had the chance to say “goodbye,” or “I love you” to our client.
The defendant, who was an employee for Worldwide Recovery Systems, Incorporated, and the operator of a semi-truck, was traveling eastbound on Pomona Boulevard, at approximately 49-52 miles per hour. At the same time, as our client was adjusting their bicycle, the defendant failed to notice our client in the middle of the road, and as a result, the defendant violently collided with our client, taking their life.
