James Theodosopoulos, the son of two lawyers, grew up watching his parents help others and tackle legal challenges with passion and dedication. What he once observed from the sidelines has now become his professional mission.
Although he once dreamed of becoming a professional basketball player, James discovered his true calling at age 13 and decided to dedicate his life to helping others seek justice.
He earned his B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) in 2018, and his J.D. from Chapman University in 2021, the same year he was admitted to the California Bar. During law school, James was an active member of the Entertainment Law Society, an association focused on legal issues affecting the entertainment industry. He also gained valuable experience as an intern at Entertainment Tonight, where he gained exposure to the practical side of media and entertainment law.
Before joining Adamson Ahdoot, James worked in personal injury defense, representing insurance carriers. This role provided him with unique insight into defense strategies, which he now leverages to anticipate and counter opposing claims and maximize the results for his clients.
James is also committed to serving the community. Through his volunteer work with ONEGeneration, he has supported children and seniors alike, helping improve their quality of life.
Passionate about litigation, James approaches every case with the goal of “zealously defending his clients and securing fair compensation for their losses.” He believes in keeping communication open and transparent, ensuring his clients feel supported and informed at every stage of the legal process.
Outside the courtroom, James enjoys video games, board games, and sports. As a devoted family man, he spends much of his free time with his wife, parents, siblings, and in-laws. While he enjoys basketball and cheering for the Lakers, his true sports passion is American football—he is a proud fan of the Philadelphia Eagles.
