A two-vehicle crash was reported on Saturday, January 2nd in Lake Balboa. The Los Angeles Police Department is leading an investigation of the case. The incident happened at around 7:00 p.m. on Whitaker Avenue. Both of the vehicles involved were driving above the speed limits. One person was found dead at the scene, a 26-year-old man named Artur Ignatosian, a resident of North Hills. It is unknown if the other driver was also injured from the crash.
