The incident happened just before 9:00 p.m. on Roscoe Boulevard. A vehicle that was traveling on Roscoe Boulevard suddenly veered off-road and crashed into a utility pole. Though it is unknown how many people were occupying the vehicle at the time, firefighters at the scene managed to rescue one person. This person, however, was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities are still looking into what may have caused the crash to transpire.
