Three Injured After Two-Vehicle Crash in Mission Hills

November 4, 2020 Alan Ahdoot

On Friday, October 23rd, a two-vehicle crash was reported to have taken place in Mission Hills. Los Angeles Fire Department was one of the first responders at the scene. The crash occurred around 10:00 p.m. on 5 Freeway, near 118 Freeway. Five people were found to be occupying both vehicles. One of them was trapped inside and required assistance from the fire crew to be freed from the wreckage. One person suffered from severe injuries while another two people had moderate injuries sustained from the crash. All of them are receiving treatment at the hospital. Another two people who were also at the scene refused hospitalization.

Should You Immediately Go to the Hospital After An Automobile Accident?

Yes. It is the most important thing to do after an automobile accident – go to the hospital for treatment if the emergency personnel at the scene recommends you do so.

We recommend doing this for several reasons. One, if you have any injuries from the crash that were not identified during the first observation, you will have issues later on with your insurance. They can easily claim that you sustain the injury through other means. Another reason would be that it will prove detrimental to any personal injury claims you choose to pursue against the at-fault party since they can choose to argue that your injury wasn’t received from the crash. If you have already chosen to not go to the hospital for treatment and need legal advice on what to do next, call us at (800) 310-1606 for a free consultation today.
