A crash at Mt. Washington on Monday, October 26th, caused a SigAlert to be dispatched for nearly an hour. California Highway Patrol was the first responder at the scene. Two lanes on Route 110, near Avenue 43, were closed temporarily while crash cleanup was underway. The crash was reported to occur at around 7:00 a.m. It is unknown how many vehicles were involved and whether anyone was injured or dead from the accident.

Is It Possible for A Car Crash Debris to Cause A Car Accident?

Yes, it is possible. A severe car crash involving multiple vehicles can cause a lot of cleanups, which can be improperly be done if the people involved were under certain time pressure, such as the case above, where the incident happened near rush hour time. If you had a car accident caused by an improperly cleaned crash debris, it is best to contact your insurance provider first and foremost. If you choose to pursue a damage claim against another party, it is best to work together with a personal injury lawyer to determine which party is responsible for this negligence.
