New Adamson Ahdoot Attorney Charles Windon was exposed to law at a young age

Adamson Ahdoot takes great pleasure in welcoming Charles Windon to the firm. He joins us from the Los Angeles County Public Defender’s Office. While there, he was a steadfast advocate for his clients and their rights.

His parents, an immigrant mother who became a successful real estate agent and a talented attorney father, instilled in him a penchant for hard work. Being around his father’s legal practice ensured Charles knew as early as fifth grade what his life’s work would be.

“There was definitely exposure. I would go to court with him when I was little. It was more of like a field trip to me, rather than any work and I got so familiar with it. That passion developed over time,” Charles shared.

A Commitment to Advocacy

This exposure also made Charles fully aware of just how many underrepresented or misrepresented people needed legal guidance. He endeavored to make sure he could contribute to helping them.

Not content to help his clients get the most equitable results under the law, Charles also serves on the board of California non-profit, Death Penalty Focus.

The Los Angeles native graduated from Carnegie Mellon University, where he earned an undergraduate BA degree in Ethics, History, and Public Policy. He obtained his Juris Doctor from Temple Law School in May 2017. While there, he was a member of the Black Law Students Association, or BLSA for two years. Charles successfully passed the California Bar in early 2018.

He is a member in good standing of the California Bar Association and licensed to practice before all state courts in California.

Charles will continue to use his vast legal experience and learning to make sure clients at AA Law get the attention and fair compensation they deserve.
