Six-Vehicle Crash in Anaheim Leaves One Man Dead

October 25, 2020 Alan Ahdoot

A vehicular crash involving six vehicles and killing one person was reported to have occurred in Anaheim on Saturday, October 17th. California Highway Patrol was one of the first responders at the scene, though the lead investigator for the case is Anaheim Police Department. The crash happened on Santa Ana 5 Freeway, near Euclid Street at around 11:19 a.m.

A female driver crashed into the back of another vehicle, and the fallout caused another four vehicles to have been damaged in the process. The female driver was also carrying a male passenger of unknown age, who suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. It is unknown whether other occupants of the vehicle were also injured in the process. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the incident.

Can Passengers File A Claim Against Drivers After A Car Crash?

Yes, they can. If you were injured in a car crash as a passenger, you can file a claim against the driver who was behind the wheels at the time. If this driver is a person who is an employee of a business entity, we advise you to pursue a claim against them instead. If they are not, then you can file a claim against their auto insurance provider. If they are based in California, they should have one. If they don’t have insurance, you can file a claim against them directly. If this is the legal action you are planning to take, consult a lawyer first.
